Issue #146

If we haven't linked to your post, it's because there wasn't enough information in the header for us to spot it or make a link. Particularly for fanfiction, we need a title and pairing at least. Anything else is a bonus – spoilers and ratings especially. Please leave a comment if you think we should have linked to something, and we'll add it or pick it up for the next newsletter.

Discussion and Miscellany

A new comm, [livejournal.com profile] ficfinishing has started to help writers in the CM and Numb3rs fandoms to finish their fics. More info here.

Thanks. I emailed them but didn't hear back. They say advance permission is necessary for comm pimps, which I understand.

I got an offer from the Morgan/Garcia comm to post there, but I wanted to make sure I reached a wider audience.

Hi, I really don't mean to be a bother, but I just came to check about the [livejournal.com profile] ficfinishing link I requested? From what I see the link was only put on a several days old post. NO ONE is going to see it. People read their Friends page and move on. They're not going to come back and check to see if the newsletter has changed since they read it. They assume it's static - like any newsletter - and just wait for the next.

Can you please remove the entry about my comm from this edition and place it in your *upcoming* edition? Sign ups close 3/13 so there's not much time left to get the word out to CM authors.

Thank you.
